MISSION
The mission of Quality Family Counseling Agency, LLC is to promote quality behavioral health care for all, particularly people with disabilities, and to help the City of Richmond and surrounding cities with their human service and workforce needs in
Services include rehabilitative counseling, skill training and assistance in accessing and effectively utilizing services and support that are essential to meeting individual needs to enhance an individual’s successful community living in the most appropriate, least restrictive environment.
PROGRAM GOALS
To evaluate and assess individual strengths and needs for use in the development of an individualized service plan tailored specifically to the identified needs of each person served.
Enhance an individual’s successful community living with the goal of extended community tenure in the most appropriate, least restrictive environment.
To empower individuals living with mental illness to maintain healthy, positive lifestyles, heal families, reduce criminal behavior, and enhance the lives for all in our community.
To promote the recovery of the individual by providing training in or reinforcement of functional skills and appropriate behavior related to the individual’s health, safety, activities of daily living and use of community resources.
Work collaboratively with the agency providing active case management services during the same time that Mental Health Skill Building is provided.
Demonstrate program effectiveness on an individual and aggregate basis using pre-and post-testing of identified skill areas.
PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY
Quality Family Counseling Agency, LLC Mental Health Skill Building program is operated utilizing the belief that persons with mental illness and other dual diagnosis can become productive, integrated members of the communities in which they live. The program believes that by providing training and support those individuals they can maintain community stability and can enhance their individual independence. All services delivered are individualized to the person receiving them and based upon a mutually agreed upon plan of treatment between the recipient and the provider.
